The regret of inaction stings the deepest. Like you've stabbed destiny in the back and never learned enough medicine to save her.
She's dying in your arms. Slowly.
It's like an irretrievable fortune; within reach for one singular moment and whisked away the next. Time, a merciless undertow.
This track is a vignette. A sole regret but monumental in its weight. This is a wailing tune; wailing to ward off this irreparable void. The beautiful autumn leaves are left on the ground to remind us we can never go back. A heaviness.
I won't say too much more about this one.
